TOSHIO MATSUMOTO, perhaps best known for his 1969 feature film Funeral Parade of Roses, is also the director of Connection, Shift, Relation, Sway and Engram, short films with original scores by INAGAKI - issued in their entirety on this very-many-years-in-the-making LP, with an original essay by JENNIFER LUCY ALLAN, a ‘remembrance’ by TAKASHI INAGAKI, and an extensive interview with TOSHIO MATSUMOTO newly translated into English.
